Not Actually Happening Ep. 5 — April Fool’s Spaghetti Harvest
Yes, it’s another Not Actually Happening, a mini-episode where we get to talk about the things history got wrong and science screwed up. This week in honor of April Fool’s Day we cover one of the greatest pranks ever pulled. And since it involves the British, television, and spaghetti, you just know we’re going to wind up talking about a papal monopoly on Italian pasta.
Why does no one comment?
a) no one comments because you guys are not well known enough to have a steady audience and i just caught up to you from being on episode 9 of ah. b) phlogistan is where Ben Ladin was all that time.
Actually, I think no one comments because what would we comment on? Oh, actually, this tiny bit of trivia that you mentioned in this one specific instance was slightly misquoted?
By which I mean that the conversations you have here are hilarious, dense, circular, closed, and not really accessible on the level of comments. Which means all that’s left is to say, “hey, this was really great,” or “man ya’ll are really drunk in this one,” or “that Steven character has a sexy voice.”
If you seriously want more people to comment, why not ask questions that you don’t actually answer in the show?
But on the other hand, does it really matter if no one comments? What would comments add to the listener experience?
